Private security agencies are governed under the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005, which is also known as PSARA. It needs to be renewed every five years. It is recommended for security agencies to obtain this license from the State Controlling Authority Concerned before starting the business. The license is valid in one district or more of the entire state or is valid in the entire state.
- Certificate of Incorporation, MOA, AOA

- Two photographs of all directors, partners and proprietors
