Registered office means the head office of the company which is registered under Register of Companies. Initially on incorporation of a company, the companyrequired to begiven any address as a corresponding address for service of any notice and communication by ROC. After Incorporation of company, within 30 days from date of incorporation, the company shall provide an address to ROCas registered office of the company. Address of registered office always shows on master data of the companies on portal of the MCA.It is not a permanent registered office for a company and thereforethe company may shift its registered office any time after incorporation by filing necessary documents with ROC.

First company holds the Board meeting and considers the change of registered office from one place to another place within same city, town, village and pass the resolution for the same.
Thereafter company within 30 days of passed resolution in Board meeting file form INC-22 to ROC along with following attachment-
In this case, INC-22 is approved on STP mode (except in case of incorporation), therefore after file form, immediately shall change the registered office of the company and shall be updated on MCA portal.
First company hold the board meeting and consider the following resolution:
Hold the General meeting and pass the special resolution to approve the shifting of registered office from one city to another.
File certified true copy of special resolution with explanatory statement with ROC within 30 days of passed special resolution in e form MGT-14.
On same time file form INC-22 within 30 days of approval of members with ROC along with following attachments :
In this case form MGT-14 and INC-22 is not on STP mode. It is approved through verification process of ROC.
If ROC is satisfied to the all information and documents, he approved the form and registered the new address of office.
The company shall update the new address on all copy of MOA, Letter head, Stamp, Office board and other documents where old address is mentioned. And also will update with all authority like Income Tax, GST etc.
