1. Online Application Submission:

FBOs are required to initiate the address change process by submitting an online application through the FoSCoS (Food Safety Compliance System) platform. Along with this application, they should possess a valid receipt containing a 17-digit application reference number.

2. Accessing FoSCoS Dashboard:

Upon logging in to the official FoSCoS website, FBOs will encounter a dashboard interface. From this dashboard, they need to navigate to the “Modification” option, which enables them to proceed with changing the relevant FSSAI Licence details.

3. Address Modification and Fee Payment:

Within the modification process, FBOs are prompted to effect the necessary changes to their FSSAI Licence information. This typically includes updating the address. A requisite fee for the change in jurisdiction should also be submitted at this stage.

4. Automatic Application for Transfer:

Upon successful modification of the FSSAI Licence, an automated online transfer application is generated and sent to the current licensing authority.

5. Examination by Authority:

The relevant authority that holds jurisdiction over the current address will evaluate the transfer application within a period of 15 days from its submission. In the absence of any comments or concerns raised by the current authority, the system will automatically approve the transfer application.

6. Forwarding to Concerned Licencing Authority:

7. Final Approval and Transfer:

Note:

In the event that the FSSAI Authority rejects an application for modification in the FSSAI Licence, the respective FBO is obligated to suspend their business operations until the modification process is duly completed.
